About The Position

CC Holdings is hiring full-time and part-time Night Supervisors for its Au Bon Pain location at Methodist Hospital. The role combines shift supervision with sandwich artist, cashier, and customer service representative duties. Supervisors oversee daily activities and employee performance, handle customer requests and complaints, maintain a tidy, organized, stocked workspace, and help ensure service runs smoothly. They also prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and standards; process customer payments using a point-of-sale system; and provide friendly customer service. Shifts are available seven days a week, generally from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with varying schedules and a need for flexibility. The starting rate is up to $18.00 per hour. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including against COVID-19, and have supervisory experience in the food industry.

Arrive in proper uniform and adhere to grooming standards.
Set up the station according to café guidelines and follow portion control and presentation specifications.
Prepare food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
Restock items as needed and maintain the station using safe, sanitary, and organized work practices.
Understand how to properly use and maintain station equipment.
Know methods and procedures for serving food and principles of sanitation and safe food handling.
Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
Demonstrate attention to detail, time management, multitasking, prioritization, and adaptability.
Work at an efficient and consistent pace and be willing to assist with other tasks when asked.
Follow all procedures and policies.
Suggestively sell and keep customers informed about products, promotions, and other services.
Be able to perform the position's essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation; these may include standing and walking for extended periods, moving throughout restaurant and work areas, preparing and handling food, operating restaurant equipment, interacting with customers and team members, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items consistent with the role.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities and employee performance during shifts.
Handle customer requests and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace stocked with essential supplies and help ensure production and service run smoothly.
Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls according to recipes and applicable standards.
Prepare orders in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
Maintain and stock the food preparation station and follow food safety requirements.
Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale system; balance the cash drawer, make change, and enter purchases.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Clean and maintain the station and work areas, including sweeping floors, cleaning surfaces, and properly covering and storing food.
Record orders and handle cash accurately to support financial accountability.
Thank customers, invite them to return, and inform them about products, promotions, and services.
Act as a role model for customers and staff and help train new baristas and cashiers on the job.
Work with team members to support operations, standards, and the café concept.
Perform other tasks as requested.
