About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role involves supervising and communicating with store crews, assisting customers, and handling merchandise presentation and inventory tasks. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 29 and a typical pay range of $16.50–$24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, maintain smooth store operations, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
