About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance and in building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising crew activities, communicating with management and staff, assisting customers, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and handling merchandise presentation and inventory tasks. This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 32.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory tasks for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following POGs.
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures.
