About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures. The position is part-time, with an anticipated schedule of 29 hours per week.

Requirements

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Set up displays, signs, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Set up and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, ensure smooth store operations, and complete opening and closing procedures.
