About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and ensures completion of all opening and closing procedures.

The role supervises store crew activities, communicates with store management and crew, assists customers, handles customer relations issues, maintains customer and patient confidentiality, and supports merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, inventory, and department resets. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute displays and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure store operations run smoothly when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
