About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. The role involves supporting coffeehouse operations, providing quality customer service, and helping prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to Starbucks standards.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to employees and/or coordinating tasks for two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and delegate work to other employees and coordinate tasks among employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
Fulfill customer requests and help create a welcoming coffeehouse environment.
Follow store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and safety and security.
