About The Position

Braum’s Shift Supervisors execute the company’s brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values to create a great customer experience and maximize sales. They recognize the importance of employees and strengthen the team’s contribution toward unit goals. The position supervises shift operations across the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales. The schedule varies by day on a rotating three-week schedule, with an expected 45-hour workweek. The supervisor reports to the Assistant Manager.

Requirements

At least 1 year of minimum experience.
Retail experience.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Customer focus.
Strong work ethic and high standards for integrity.
Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with team members.
Ability to build a successful team and an environment of trust.
Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs and store conditions.
Effective communication with leadership team members.
Discipline in follow-up and follow-through.
Ability to initiate action and achieve goals.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow practices and procedures.
A criminal background check and job-fit assessment are required as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
Oversee shift operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales.
Participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed.
Help ensure store policies and practices are implemented and followed.
