About The Position

Braum's is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead store crew members and support the company's brand strategy, vision, mission, and values. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience and maximizing sales. The supervisor oversees shift operations across food service, the grocery market, and fountain sales; coaches and develops team members; monitors inventory, supplies, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness; and helps ensure store policies and practices are followed. The position works a rotating three-week schedule, with workdays varying and an expected 45-hour workweek. The listed shift is 2:00 p.m. to close. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Assistant Manager. Compensation is $15.50–$16.00 per hour, with an annually stated range of $44,500–$46,500. Braum's also offers a bonus program, with bonuses paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Retail experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Customer focus and a strong work ethic with high standards for integrity.
Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with team members.
Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs and store conditions.
Effective communication with leadership team members.
Follow-up and follow-through discipline; ability to initiate action and achieve goals.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow practices and procedures.
A criminal background check and job-fit assessment are required as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
