About The Position

Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor assists the management team in achieving revenue, expense, and profit objectives as outlined in the store's budget. This role involves training staff to successfully comply with all production goals, merchandise standards, customer service expectations, and mission integration, ensuring full adherence to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and leadership necessary to meet performance standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to learn how to correctly use all point of sale and donation systems, office computer and telephone.
Skills to work in stressful conditions and use good judgment, patience and understand.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Familiarity with business related mathematics.
Ability to supervise and train staff in production, merchandising, checkout and customer service.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist, lift, push, pull and move items up to 40 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

One year of retail sales experience preferred.
