About The Position

Unidine is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, Connecticut. The role directs associates during an assigned shift and ensures work expectations are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The supervisor provides training, creates schedules, evaluates performance, prepares reports, and supports employees. Days and hours may vary, including evenings and weekends. The pay range is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided.

Requirements

• Previous computer skills experience is required.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct associates' activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate workers' performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
