About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor at Regional Hospital of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensures assigned work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role includes training associates, creating schedules, evaluating performance, and preparing reports to help ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The supervisor also serves as a contact for employee complaints and time-off requests and may mentor employees and encourage their professional growth. Pay is $17.00–$20.00 per hour. Days and hours may vary, with rotating weekends and holidays; further schedule details are provided during the interview. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, and training is available. Responsibilities

Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensure assigned work expectations are completed while maintaining policies and procedures.
Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management.
Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
Serve as a contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
