About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to help make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. You will help prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, while meeting store operating policies and standards. The role involves directing and coordinating the work of other employees and providing quality customer service. Requirements

Six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfilling their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including recipe changes.
Direct and delegate work to other employees and coordinate tasks among employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Fulfill customer requests and help create a welcoming coffeehouse environment.
