About The Position

An Overnight Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed.

The role includes supervising and directing the store crew overnight, communicating with management and colleagues, assisting customers, handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, protecting customer and patient confidentiality, and maintaining merchandise presentation and inventory. This is a part-time position with anticipated hours of 20 per week.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews overnight.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, lead store staff and ensure store operations and opening and closing procedures are completed.
