About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. The role includes preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and directing and coordinating the work of other employees. You are expected to meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and safety and security.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Availability to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
Direct, delegate, and coordinate the work of other employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
