About The Position

The Shift Supervisor leads a Starbucks coffeehouse shift, helping create a warm and welcoming space where customers can connect. The role calls for leading with craft and heart, preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and supporting store operations in accordance with company policies and standards. The supervisor directs and coordinates employees’ work and helps make each shift a positive experience for the community.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
