About The Position

Unidine is hiring immediately for an on call SHIFT SUPERVISOR position. This role involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift, ensuring assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for training, creating work schedules, evaluating performance, and preparing reports for management. They also act as the primary contact for employees regarding complaints or time off requests and may mentor and develop employees to encourage career advancement.

Requirements

Previous food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
