As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
