About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to help make the coffeehouse a warm and welcoming space for the community. You will support the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, direct and delegate work, and help maintain store operating policies and standards. The role requires customer interaction, teamwork, and availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant customer interaction and fulfillment of customer requests.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer specifications.
• Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Interact with customers and fulfill their requests.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
