About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the car wash facility. This role involves direct customer interaction, site upkeep, opening/closing procedures, and basic troubleshooting. The Shift Supervisor must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate responsibility when the Site Manager is off-site. They are also responsible for enforcing safety policies and understanding the functions of chemical room equipment, including assisting with repairs.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
Ability to work as a team.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions.
Ability to work in damp, humid, and outdoor variable weather conditions.
Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment, potentially excessively loud with hearing protection required.
Adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.
Ability to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
Greets customers, answers questions, and explains wash options.
Ensures customer satisfaction and reports any inquiries, incidents, or issues in a timely manner.
Completes all CSR and Supervisor 1 Level job duties.
Works weekends.
Demonstrates responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
Enforces all safety policies.
Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
Assists Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
Cleans out solenoid.
Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
Performs customer interaction (60%).
Performs site upkeep (cleaning/maintaining) (30%).
Performs opening/closing procedures (5%).
Performs basic troubleshooting (5%).
