About The Position

The Shift Supervisor - Security is responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests, maintaining guest service standards, and creating a favorable gaming experience. This role involves investigating incidents, managing guest complaints, observing and addressing intoxicated guests, and serving as a team leader for emergency response. The supervisor also monitors staffing levels, handles escalated guest service issues, and ensures compliance with alcohol limitations and company policies. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and upholding company policies. The position requires adherence to attendance guidelines and a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Speech and Vision abilities are required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests.
  • Maintain guest service standards and ensure team members perform those standards to achieve a favorable gaming experience for guests.
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Investigate incidents and guest complaints and produce summary reports of findings.
  • Review Security activities with Security Manager.
  • Observe, identify, and appropriately address intoxicated guests.
  • Check for and report safety hazards.
  • Serve as team leader for emergency response drills and evacuations.
  • Complete all government reporting.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Communicate pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members that is important to the operation of the casino.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
  • Ensure satisfaction to guests.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
  • Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
