About The Position

The Shift Supervisor - Security is responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests, maintaining guest service standards, and ensuring team members perform those standards to achieve a favorable gaming experience for guests. This role involves investigating incidents, reviewing security activities, addressing intoxicated guests, identifying safety hazards, and serving as a team leader for emergency response. The position also includes completing government reporting, monitoring staffing levels for budgetary compliance, managing escalated guest service issues, and upholding company policies. The Shift Supervisor must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business operations.

Requirements

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Speech and Vision abilities are required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests.
  • Maintain guest service standards and ensure team members perform those standards.
  • Investigate incidents and guest complaints and produce summary reports.
  • Review Security activities with Security Manager.
  • Observe, identify, and appropriately address intoxicated guests.
  • Check for and report safety hazards.
  • Serve as team leader for emergency response drills and evacuations.
  • Complete all government reporting.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
  • Communicate pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Appraising performance.
  • Rewarding and disciplining team members.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
  • Ensure satisfaction to guests.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
  • Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
