About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient unit operation, proper and safe equipment operation in accordance with Plant Operation policies/procedures and OSHA safety rules and regulations, and the production of high-quality products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8-10 years Prior Work Experience
Responsibilities
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of the chemical processes and operating equipment.
- A thorough understanding of the safety aspects of operating a chemical plant.
- Knowledge of safe handling of raw materials.
- A comprehensive understanding of Environmental and OSHA regulations.
- An in-depth understanding of the Polymers area and Standard Operating procedures.
- A thorough understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality system and a commitment to our Quality Policy.
- A personal record of above average performance.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to organize and plan work.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to coordinate and follow-up on activities.
- Good computer skills.
- Successful completion of Incident Command Training
- Haz-Op Training
- Additional duties may vary.
