Domino’s Pizza is hiring Shift Managers as the first step in its Management Program. Shift Managers are responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including opening or closing the store and ensuring it operates at a high level. Duties include controlling costs, inventory and cash; maintaining customer relations; following and enforcing company policies and procedures; completing paperwork; managing food and schedules; maintaining store standards and cleanliness; supporting marketing and profitability; and providing excellent customer service. The role also performs general store-team duties, such as receiving and processing telephone orders, handling customer information responsibly, executing credit transactions, preparing products and ingredients, operating and cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, taking inventory, and completing assigned workstation and closing tasks. Team members are expected to support one another and contribute to a positive, energetic team environment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position may include delivery duties, for which a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle are required. Work involves standing and walking for much of the shift, handling supplies and products, and using equipment such as ovens and pizza tools. Conditions may include temperature changes, hot surfaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and adverse weather during outside tasks or deliveries. Physical tasks include lifting and carrying supplies, reaching, bending, crouching, pushing trays, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. Delivery duties may involve carrying products and navigating stairs and other delivery locations.
