About The Position

To assist the Store Management in ensuring and maintaining Genuine Customer Care, accountable for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three months related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages and sales per associate hour)
• Slip resistant shoes with closed toe and heel

• Associates may be required to use standard equipment including, but not limited to, Power jack

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• Assist in managing total store operating
• Assure front end is providing customers with quick friendly service
• Perishable department kept full and ready for business
• Frozen/Dairy - ad items, display and milk case full at evening
• Grocery displays - ads and red dots full
• Backroom - neat and up to best practices standards
• Assist in handling all associate issues
• Assist in handling customer issues
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures
• Enforces safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
