Domino’s Pizza is hiring Shift Managers as the first step in its Management Program. Shift Managers are responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including opening or closing the store and ensuring it operates at a high level. The role includes controlling costs, inventory and cash; managing food and paperwork; maintaining store standards and cleanliness; and providing excellent customer service. Managers are expected to set an example, follow all policies and procedures, and expect the same from their crew. The position also includes receiving and processing orders by phone and in person, handling confidential customer information responsibly, executing credit transactions, preparing products and ingredients, stocking supplies, taking inventory, and completing paperwork. Team members operate and clean equipment, support other workstations, complete closing duties, and contribute to a positive, energetic team environment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a path to advancement from Shift Manager to Assistant Manager, General Manager, franchise owner, or corporate operations. Work involves standing for most tasks and frequent walking, reaching, and hand use. Duties may include lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying supplies and food, pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, and occasional stair or ladder use. The work environment can include temperatures from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some areas, hot oven surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler quarters, and changing weather conditions during outdoor tasks. Delivery-related duties may involve driving and navigating stairs or other delivery locations.
