About The Position

Azusa Solutions is seeking an ELM Technical Manager to join our team of talented consultants. The ELM Technical Manager should have Oracle PeopleSoft application functional, development and/or administration experience to support a customer’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation. The role provides PeopleSoft software/system functional and development consulting services at client location. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems and are comfortable working directly with customers and executive leadership. This role requires a strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft ELM and its as well as the following diverse skill sets:

Requirements

Active TS/SCI and FSP required.
Candidate must be local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area.
Oracle PeopleSoft application functional, development and/or administration experience to support a customer’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, executive leaders, and team members.
Ability to assess the high-level architectural design, research potential implementation road maps, and conduct feasibility assessments.
Ability to translate technical requirements reflecting customers desired outcomes helping developers produce the best product possible
Drive towards customer buy in and drive development processes when needed
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Deep functional knowledge across HCM, Financials and Education applications.
Strong experience with the PeopleSoft ecosystem to make recommendations for low cost and long-term maintenance
Deep reporting background and expertise with understanding of various technologies spanning vendors.
Understanding of data warehouse theory and concepts.
Work with end users to generate reporting artifacts, as well as explain concepts and help users with little or no technical background.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day implementation and operations aspects of the system for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Leads experienced teams
Develops detailed design of Oracle IT capabilities which may involve integration with third party products and/or GOTS capabilities. This includes designing, implementing, testing, and deploying more complex extensions or configurations needed to address customer unique business processes and workflows.
Works on substantive and unique issues that identifies risks and risk mitigations.
Develops methods, techniques and evaluation criteria providing functional and technical experience on on- premise, cloud, and hybrid based solutions.
