About The Position

Auntie Anne’s is seeking a reliable, hardworking Shift Manager to lead shifts, support store operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Shift Manager helps drive store performance, maintain operational standards, coach team members, and ensure guests receive friendly, accurate, and professional service. This role includes preparing and serving products to brand standards, managing transactions, supporting opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe environment. The position offers flexible scheduling of 20 to 40 hours per week and requires availability for at least one weekend day, as well as flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctuality and readiness to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift.
• Ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts and communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences according to company policies.
• Strong work ethic and a dependable, accountable, and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to follow directions, procedures, and brand standards consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift.
• Comfort working in warm and cold environments, including around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to taste-test products as part of quality control processes.
• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and guest service skills.
• Food Handler Certification, current or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Honesty, accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of food service, restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous leadership, keyholder, or shift management experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems.
• TB clearance required if applicable by location.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, energetic, and professional service.
• Lead shifts and provide direction, coaching, and support to team members.
• Prepare, bake, and serve Auntie Anne’s products according to brand recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure operational, food safety, and guest service standards are consistently met.
• Deliver accurate orders and positive guest experiences.
• Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash accountability, and shift execution.
• Monitor productivity and overall shift performance.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment throughout the shift.
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work; maintain reliable attendance and follow call-out and scheduling procedures.
• Plan for transportation, traffic, and parking to ensure timely arrival.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with attention to detail.
• Support teammates during busy periods and work collaboratively to achieve store goals.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and operational procedures.
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude, and help foster teamwork, reliability, and respect.
