About The Position

Super Star Car Wash is hiring a Shift Manager to lead daily operations as Manager-on-Duty. The role is accountable for onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. It is suited to leaders who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy developing people, and seek a pathway to higher-level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined focus areas to build leadership, business, and operational skills.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
High integrity and professionalism.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.

Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience.

Responsibilities

Lead daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
Serve as Manager-on-Duty and resolve guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
Provide hands-on coaching, recognize team members, support training completion, and promote engagement and accountability.
Model company values and enforce policies and procedures.
Identify safety risks proactively and address issues immediately.
Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
Rotate through people and staffing leadership activities, including scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance.
Rotate through sales and training leadership activities, including team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps.
Rotate through operations and tunnel leadership activities, including site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization.
