About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Green Valley team. The position is suited to friendly, enthusiastic candidates with customer service experience, including experience in retail or food service. The company provides on-the-job training in cannabis and offers an opportunity to grow within the industry. The role focuses on assisting patients and customers, creating a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintaining an organized and clean workspace.

This is a full-time position requiring at least 30 hours per week. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts with two days off, and candidates must have open availability for morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
• Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays.
• Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for a minimum of eight hours daily.
• Comfortable using a computer for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Personal smartphone required; iPhone iOS 14 or later or Android OS 4.4 or later.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
