About The Position

The Shift Manager - Table Games is responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Table Games department. This role provides oversight for all games, game protection, and overall Table Games operations during their shift. The Shift Manager supports, administers, and manages operational goals, monitoring achievements of performance and profit objectives. They are also responsible for creating effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction. This position assists in the budget process for the department, provides recommendations, ensures compliance with departmental budget initiatives, and reports budget concerns to management. The Shift Manager enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards, ensuring all team members adhere to customer service standards and addressing issues as they arise. They are responsible for the overall integrity of daily Table Games operations and provide oversight for the gaming floor. This role ensures the accountability of chips, cards, dice, and all other gaming equipment, verifies table inventories, and manages table limits. The Shift Manager works closely with the Vice President/Director to implement and oversee strategies for engagement, customer service, comp ability, games layout and mix, revenue growth, and expense management to maximize profitability. They monitor chips and cash transactions between dealers and customers, ensuring proper payout amounts are paid. The Shift Manager maintains and processes all department paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication. They are responsible for the overall engagement of all team members by addressing and managing feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within their area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management, while maintaining strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
