About The Position

As a Shift Manager in Facilities, you will lead the daily operations of your assigned shift, ensuring the property’s systems, equipment, and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. Partnering with the Director of Facilities, you will oversee maintenance activities, coordinate across multiple trades, and guide the engineering team to ensure work is properly scheduled, assigned, and completed to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Holds a High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrates strong mechanical expertise including proficiency in switch gear operation
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience across all facets of facilities and maintenance
  • Exhibits outstanding proficiency in all trades and strong communication skills
  • Brings over 2 years of prior relevant experience as a manager or related technical education and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Execute department strategy consistent with the strategic plan, the fiscal budget, and the company’s short-term and long-term profitability objectives
  • Directly supervise all engineering activities and maintenance personnel including performance feedback, setting work priorities and goals, scheduling, hiring, training, promotions, and employee engagement
  • Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s service standards and brand attributes
  • Ensure compliance with all local and federal health, safety, and building codes and maintain accurate record keeping of department activities and documents
  • Continuously monitor utility costs and consumption and maintain required logs for all utilities
  • Leverage programs to maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures and oversee preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repairs/replacement of equipment
  • Provide input and manage levels of inventory and all purchases for parts, tools, equipment, and machinery to property standards
