About The Position

Nation's Giant Hamburgers is hiring Shift Leaders for its new Berkeley location. Shift Leaders are cross-trained across restaurant operations, including cashiering, cooking, food preparation, and light janitorial work. They lead shifts by example, motivate and guide team members, help ensure excellent service and food quality, address customer concerns, support safety standards, manage breaks and timekeeping, train new employees, handle orders and paperwork, and cover the manager’s day off when needed. The role requires an in-person work location. The posting lists full-time and part-time positions at $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, positive customer service as a cashier.
Prepare fresh, high-quality food in a timely manner.
Organize and prepare fresh produce to maintain product quality.
Perform light janitorial work and maintain restaurant cleanliness.
Lead shifts and guide the team to provide excellent service and top-quality food.
Address customer concerns.
Ensure crew members follow safety standards.
Manage employee breaks and timekeeping.
Train and guide new team members.
Handle restaurant orders and assist with paperwork.
Cover the manager’s day off when needed.
