About The Position

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team. Shift Leaders are crucial to the team, helping to motivate staff to deliver a great guest experience and setting the tone for the team. They open and close the store with minimal supervision, ensuring food and beverage quality, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team.
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed.
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
