As a Shift Leader at Carl’s Jr., you’re not just overseeing the day-to-day — you’re helping shape the vibe of the entire shift. You’ll set the tone, keep things running smooth and make sure every detail is just right. This isn’t just a step up — it’s a leadership role with room to grow.

Requirements

  • Are 18 or older
  • Can lead by example and support others
  • Love a clean, organized, and efficient workday
  • Have basic math skills (for register, scheduling, and shift planning)
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for a full shift
  • Have a Food Handler’s Permit (or can get one within 30 days)

Nice To Haves

  • Learn real leadership skills and grow into restaurant management (if you want to!)

Responsibilities

  • Leading the team during your shift and keeping operations on point
  • Training and supporting team members with instructional guidance
  • Jumping in wherever needed: front counter, drive-thru, kitchen, or prep
  • Managing shift tasks with a focus on detail, quality, and guest satisfaction
  • Opening and/or closing the store using clear checklists and routines
  • Monitoring staffing and labor costs during your shift
  • Making sure cleanliness, service, and food quality all hit the Carl’s Jr. standard
  • Keeping the team energized and on track
