About The Position

Brenz Pizza Co is looking for a Full Time Shift Lead who can lead a highly skilled team. This position has room for future advancement as General Manager. Requirements

Knowledge of the restaurant industry, health standards, and food safety regulations
Experience in restaurant kitchens
Willingness to learn/do all the jobs in the Brenz kitchen
At least 18 years old
Ability to physically stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift heavy loads regularly
A high school diploma
A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
Basic knowledge of P & L statements
Basic math and accounting skills
Strong guest service skills
Strong communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Strong conflict resolution skills
Full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work a 40-hour work week
Good personal grooming
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Ability to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
Ability to lift 35-50 pounds

Responsibilities

Order food from approved vendors
Maintain an accurate inventory
Communicate clearly with others (both verbally and written)
Organize and make weekly schedules with the help of the general manager
Communicate with staff, drivers, front of the house, and the General Manager
Lead by example
Manage kitchen staff
Uphold Brenz high standards of quality and cleanliness
Take part in the day-to-day tasks in the restaurant kitchen (cleaning, prep, boxing products, etc.)
