Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida Tennessee and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. As a Lead Residential Care Specialist, you will support the organization and delegation of day-to-day shift tasks, train new staff, and act as the point person for shift-related communication. You will ensure vigilant supervision and monitoring of every client, engage youth in program activities, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Additionally, you will ensure all documentation meets quality and regulatory standards. This role requires working either 1st Shift (7am-7pm) or 2nd Shift (7pm-7am) on a rotating schedule.
