About The Position
Shelter Insurance is seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Bettendorf, IA. This role is ideal for individuals who have a desire to meet new people, develop new contacts, become known in their community, and are passionate about serving their community. It offers the opportunity to grow sales, business, and networking skills, control one's own income, and start a business with minimal start-up costs. Shelter does not require previous insurance industry experience; backgrounds in real estate, retail sales, education, and coaching are common among successful agents. A motivated attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and effective communication skills are required. While sales experience and a business degree are helpful, Shelter provides comprehensive training, including in-house and virtual new agent training schools, and continuing education courses.
