Under the direction and scope of WCET and its funders, provide holistic client-centered and trauma informed care for survivors of sexual assault, including advocating and promoting public awareness. Candidates must be able to pick up at least one shift per month. The role involves assisting clients with daily needs, conducting screenings and assessments, developing individualized goal plans, referring clients to community resources, providing housing and residential support, arranging transportation, coordinating services with agency staff, maintaining shelter upkeep, and working supportively with children. The position also includes answering and responding to a 24-hour hotline, determining shelter eligibility, scheduling outreach appointments, and arranging emergency transportation for eligible callers. The role requires completing required paperwork and data entries within 24 hours, complying with standards, and continually improving skills and knowledge through training. The advocate must check work email every workday and provide timely responses. Other duties as assigned.
