Under the direction and scope of WCET and its funders, provide holistic client-centered and trauma informed care for survivors of sexual assault, including advocating and promoting public awareness. This role involves assisting clients with daily needs, conducting screenings and assessments, developing individualized goal plans, referring clients to community resources, and providing housing and residential support. The advocate will also arrange and/or provide transportation, coordinate services with other agency staff, model healthy relationships, and communicate effectively between clients and agency members. A willingness to work supportively with children in shelter and attendance at agency meetings are also part of the role. The position requires following WCET programs and processes to support survivors in developing self-sufficiency plans, completing required paperwork and data entries within 24 hours, and complying with standards issued by WCET and its funders. Continuous skill and knowledge improvement through workshops and trainings is expected, along with checking work email daily and providing timely responses. Other duties as assigned.
