About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Sheetmetal Technicians of all skill levels for projects located in or around Newton, MA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $33/hour for an Apprentice and up to $40/hour for a Journeyman based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Previous sheet metal experience preferred
- Experience with duct installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience assembling duct systems and components
- Ability to fabricate and shape sheet metal materials
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Install ductwork on multi-residential construction projects
- Assemble sheet metal duct systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings
- Fabricate and shape sheet metal materials as needed
- Install ductwork according to project specifications
- Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards
