About The Position
Perform duties to operate the Sheeter machine to convert rolls of paper to sheets for optimal performance to insure best possible speed, quality, and production.
Requirements
- Must be able to push rolls of paper, which require approximately 60 Pounds of force on a frequent basis (2 to 3 times an hour) with assistance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect paper to insure readiness for machine.
- Advise supervisor of any problems with defective paper that would slow down production.
- Setup machine for various roll diameters and weights and sizes.
- Feed and web paper on machine.
- Adjust machine for best possible finished product.
- Trouble shoot for any problems in paper.
- Trouble shoot the machine malfunction to maintain production and advise maintenance of any problems.
- Observe machine to ensure quality production.
- Unload and shrink wrap finished product prepare for wrapping station.
- Follow Safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
