About The Position

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market. We are looking for a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman candidate to join our Field Operations team at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, Georgia. The Sheet Metal Trade Foreman is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
  • Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required
  • CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • Government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
  • Design-build experience is desirable.
  • Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial-scale projects is preferred.
  • Training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
  • Training available for CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications.
