About The Position

RQC, LLC. is seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman to join their Field Operations team at Naval Submarine Station Kings Bay, Georgia. The company has a national presence and specializes in fast-track projects in new commercial construction, particularly for the Department of Defense (DoD) market. The Sheet Metal Trade Foreman will be responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite. The goal is to ensure safe production of quality work that meets project requirements, stays within budget and schedule, and aligns with RQC's Mission, Vision, and Values (Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects.
Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required.
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required.

Nice To Haves

College coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
Government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred.
Design-build experience is desirable.
Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial-scale projects is preferred.
Training available for Primavera, Oracle, BIM, and Revit/Autodesk.
Training available for CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications.

Responsibilities

Safely produce quality work within project requirements.
Ensure work is completed within the targeted budget and schedule.
