About The Position

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced sheet metal professional to supervise sheet metal work. The role involves coordinating people and resources, interpreting complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists, resolving job-related issues, and communicating with client representatives and project leadership. The superintendent also supports project safety, documentation, timekeeping, and employee performance reviews.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with sheet metal layout and installation.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools.
• 1–5 years of experience managing projects and personnel.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, climbing, standing, walking, reaching, and gripping; lifting requirements include occasional solo lifting up to 50 pounds and material handling up to 115 pounds.
• Ability to work in the stated environment, which may include weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise, atmospheric conditions, electrical shock hazards, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet or humid conditions, vibration, moving mechanical parts, and elevated work locations.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; must be able to talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Direct work activities and organize the scheduling of resources.
• Read complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
• Resolve complex job-related problems or bring proposed solutions to the project manager and/or director of operations.
• Serve as a liaison with client representatives.
• Attend all project meetings.
• Conduct safety talks and maintain check-in sheets.
• Maintain tool inspection reports.
• Submit permanent and temporary employees’ time to the office.
• Perform performance reviews for employees on the project.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company.
