About The Position

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced sheet metal professional to direct work activities and organize the scheduling of resources. The Superintendent reads complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists, solves job-related problems or brings solutions to the project manager or director of operations, and serves as a liaison with client representatives. The role also involves attending project meetings, conducting safety talks, maintaining check-in sheets and tool inspection reports, submitting employee time, and performing project employee performance reviews. Other duties may be assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with sheet metal layout and installation.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools.
• 1–5 years of experience managing projects and personnel.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.
• Read complex blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
• Solve complex job-related problems or bring solutions to the project manager and/or director of operations.
• Liaise with client representatives.
• Attend all project meetings.
• Perform safety talks and keep check-in sheets.
• Maintain tool inspection reports.
• Submit permanent and temporary employees’ time to the office.
• Perform performance reviews for employees on the project.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
