About The Position

Simon Roofing is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Roofing professionals to fabricate and install metal roofing systems. The role involves work on commercial roofing repair, restoration, removal, replacement, and installation projects, including architectural sheet-metal systems. The successful candidate will help lead, motivate, and coach crews while completing work safely and according to job specifications. This is a traveling position, with travel out of town for up to four weeks at a time. The company offers year-round work, career advancement opportunities, and pay based on experience.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of sheet metal roofing experience (architectural, R-panel, or other relevant metal systems) or construction sheet metal experience.
• Willingness to work at varying heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability and willingness to travel out of town, including hotel stays, for up to 4 weeks at a time.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds throughout the day and safely set up a ladder up to 40 feet.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install metal roofing systems.
• Work with standing seam metal roof systems, metal wall panel systems, and plate and ACM metal wall panel systems.
• Restore, remove, repair, and replace various commercial roofing systems, including architectural sheet-metal systems.
• Follow safety guidelines and job specifications.
• Lead, motivate, and help coach roofing crews.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and crew members.
• Organize and plan work to achieve goals based on the scope of the project.
