This position uses knowledge and experience in the trade along with management skills to coordinate internal people and external clients to provide a professionally completed, high quality product within the constraints of time and budget. This may include hands on work in the trade. The Field Manager will supervise trade specific crew leaders, journeymen, and apprentices. They will coordinate with the Project Manager on project needs, communicate project status, changes and needs, and manage the site safety program. This role involves interfacing with clients, leading and training crews, managing material take-offs, orders, scheduling, and storage. The Field Manager will also be responsible for providing and scheduling tools, reading and interpreting technical project information, collaborating with the CAD department, and visualizing/organizing the construction sequence. They will establish personnel rules, manage project budgets, maintain a clean worksite, coordinate with other trades, and participate in hands-on completion of assignments when possible. Additionally, they will maintain knowledge of building codes, coordinate inspections and system start-ups, develop final turnover packages, and promote MTech's business values and culture. Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
