The Sheet Metal Brake Operator is responsible for accurately setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprint specifications. The role supports production goals by operating independently while meeting strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bend deductions.

Responsibilities
- Follow fabrication drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to build parts, structures, and mechanical component assemblies from a wide variety of materials.
- Safely and efficiently operate all machines involved in fabricating and completing parts.
- Periodically test machine operation and identify issues.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure quality.
- Keep tools and equipment clean and orderly, and report equipment problems.
- Learn JR Metal Works processes involved in completing assigned parts.
