About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Shear Press Machine Operators for a 6-week manufacturing project in Apple Creek, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience operating shear press machinery, reading blueprints, and producing accurate, high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating a shear press, metal shear, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate shear press machinery according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Measure and inspect materials and finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Verify material dimensions and ensure proper cuts and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operation and production output.
- Perform in-process and finished-product quality inspections.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Identify production, equipment, or quality issues and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
