About The Position
The Shear Operator cuts steel bars of different diameters and lengths to specified dimensions. The cut material is used in induction heaters on various forge presses within the Forge Department. The operator sets up and operates small or large shears and operates a Raymond lift.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to add and subtract whole numbers.
- Ability to use reading and fixed gauges.
